#09, or Movement

This very solid piece got its name from the numbered sequence Rodrigo was using at the time of its design, but its nickname – Movement – is what stuck. You can see why if you observe the legs, which look ready to go out for a walk. The prototype the designer kept confirms it actually does walk around, as it is really comfortable and gets pulled around everywhere. All those Sucupira barbs that got stuck in Rodrigo’s hands during production were well worth it.

Also made in Ipê (a darker wood, like Sucupira) and Tauari (a very blonde wood).
